Sales Engineer - Central & East
OT Cyber Security
Location: Central & East, United States
$200,000 OTE (80/20) + stock/benefits
We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who can join a fast-growing cybersecurity team supporting OT/ICS environments across the East Coast or Central U.S.
What You’ll Do
Build a deep understanding of customer goals, challenges, and operational environments; clearly articulate how our solutions deliver value.
Present complex technical concepts to all levels from engineers to C-Suite in a clear and digestible way.
Act as the technical lead for your region, partnering closely with Account Managers.
Develop trusted relationships with customers and channel partners.
Run Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical evaluations, and implementation planning.
Provide in-depth product expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Troubleshoot software and network issues within complex environments.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of current and upcoming products.
Travel ~40% for customer meetings, events, and training.
What You Bring
3+ years in a pre-sales or consultative technical role (Sales Engineer preferred).
5+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in OT/ICS or industrial environments.
Practical experience from roles such as SOC Engineer, Security Architect, Support Engineer, Windows/Linux Administrator, etc.
Experience maintaining/operating in complex OT environments.
Strong knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls).
Background with content security products, endpoint, or network security tools.
BS degree or combination of education and relevant experience in cybersecurity.
Self-directed, quick learner, driven to continuously expand technical expertise.
